Treasure the Moment

What is Wabi Sabi Journey?

At wabi sabi journey, we are inspired by the ancient Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi. Our aim is to offer experiences that allow you to enjoy the flow of time in a different way, providing you with the key to savoring every moment.

In our busy lives, we often neglect our feelings and thoughts and we focus instead on what we think needs to be done. In any action, such as watching the video above, we can learn to be a little more present, more aware of what we are feeling and thinking. Any instant or action can become an opportunity to relax your mind and refresh your thoughts and feelings.

Try and concentrate on your feelings and thoughts for 3 minutes

The Team

The Wabi Sabi Journey team is based in Japan and hails from a variety of different backgrounds. Some members have been consultants for 20 years, others have worked in finance and in business, some are freelancers and university students. Ours is a diverse mix of nationalities, cultures, ages and genders. Our experiences to date have been - and will continue to be - rich, colorful and interesting, but what we share is a common desire to "live carefully in the moment,” regardless of the challenges that life throws at us. By working together as a team and sharing our thoughts and experiences, we found ourselves drawn to the philosophy of wabi sabi, which has been a part of Japanese culture for over 1,000 years.
